2021 yılında Borsa İstanbul'da işlem gören altın fiyatları, TL/kg bazında günlük olarak kaydedilen çeşitli verilere dayanarak analiz edilmiştir. Her günün sonunda altının en düşük ve en yüksek işlem fiyatları belirlenirken, kapanış fiyatı ise piyasaların kapanışıyla birlikte sabitlenmiştir. Günlük işlemler sırasında gerçekleşen tüm alış ve satışların ortalama fiyatı, Ağırlıklı Ortalama Fiyat (AOF) olarak tanımlanmış olup, aynı gün valörlü işlemler için AOF (T+0) değeri hesaplanmıştır. Altın piyasasında işlem hacmi, gün boyunca yapılan tüm işlemlerin Türk Lirası cinsinden toplam değerini ifade ederken, işlem miktarı altının kilogram olarak alınıp satıldığı toplam miktarı göstermektedir. İşlem sayısı ise o gün içinde yapılan toplam işlem adedini yansıtmaktadır. Bu veriler, altının piyasa hareketliliğini ve yatırımcıların ilgisini gösteren önemli ölçütler olarak değerlendirilmiştir.
